Youth Conference 2022

Kids in Preschool

Stonecrest is looking to create an annual event where youth can come and experience Christ in a more dynamic
and fun atmosphere. We are hosting this annual event for the following reasons: The youth will meet
like-minded peers who love the Lord and are committed to living a lifestyle set apart from the world’s
standards. It will be instrumental in launching the spiritual lives of our young Christians. The conference
will also be a platform for training up our youth in the truth of God’s word. The stronger these young
Christians are, thanks to their youth ministers and conferences like this one, the greater the impact they
can have on their communities and their church.

But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14

ABOUT THE Seminar faciliators:

Warren Blakney Jr.

Brought up in the home of a minister, Warren Blakney was raised with a front row seat observing ministry work. It wasn’t soon before his observation yielded dedication to the Lord.  At the tender age of 13, Warren dedicated his life to Christ and has every intent to serve in the Lord’s kingdom until the opportunity expires.

His upbringing, interest and passion for serving others, led him to become a graduate of Southwestern Christian College and Abilene Christian University and ultimately paved the way for Warren to earn the position as our Youth Minister.

Recognizing the value of establishing a relationship with Christ at an early age, Warren seeks to introduce that benefit with as many children as possible, in addition to his own two children Ryleigh and Warren, III.

Warren believes that once a firm foundation is set within a child’s life, the less likely they will be uprooted from their convictions about Christ by the time they reach adulthood (Proverbs 22:6).  Warren prays that the youth ministry will be the tool that complements the training that is being executed at home.
