What to Expect

when visiting us...

We care about you.  Not where you live, what you’re wearing, who you know.  We care about You and your relationship to God.  That’s where it all begins – the start of healing brokenness, sadness, fear, stress, and anxiety.  It begins with a relationship with the Father.

We’re a church full of imperfect broken people, who all have a story.  The difference is we’re coming to know Jesus and growing in virtue, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, kindness and love.

"The Church is not an automobile showroom
- a place to put ourselves on display so that others can admire our spirituality, capacity, or prosperity. It is more like a service center, where vehicles in need of repair come for maintenance and rehabilitation."

- Dieter F. Uchtdorf

If you’re coming here for the first time, here’s what you should expect:

Loving people. We get excited when someone comes for the first time!  Don't be surprised when people come over to meet and greet you. We’re a growing church and people are still getting to know one another.  We don’t want to miss out on meeting YOU!

A casual atmosphere.  When you come to worship, you’ll see people in jeans and fancy hats! You will hear practical teaching that connects the words of the Bible to everyday life and acapella singing where our voices are used as instruments of praise and worship. People may raise or clap their hands, or stand as a sign of praise while singing. Don’t feel obligated to do so yourself. And we don’t EXPECT guests to contribute anything financially. Giving is an act of worship. It’s a response to our relationship with God. We’re creating an atmosphere where people are free to worship in spirit and in truth.

A fun, safe space for children. We have loving volunteers who work with children of all ages. All of our kids ministry volunteers must pass a background check and have a heart for kids and families.
